There are more than one hundred species of Goldenrod in North America. The group named Solidago derives from the same latin name and refers to the healing powers of the plant. Goldenrod is well-named because most of the stems are rodlike holding the numerous golden little flowers. You can find Goldenrod all along the Chemin du Club from late June to October.
